HyperRing was born out of the desire to take a more intentional path and build something real from the ground up. Our journey reflects the same quiet confidence and freedom that we hope our rings inspire in you.

A fresh start with a clear vision
HyperRing’s founders came from long prior careers in tech and finance. CEO Joy Zhang led high-stakes projects across Wall Street and startups. CTO Yoonil Choi spent years at Samsung, developing security technologies that now live in millions of devices.
But after years of building for other people, they found themselves at a crossroads. They had achieved what they were supposed to, but something still didn’t feel right. They wanted more autonomy and a deeper connection to what they were creating, so they started over.
HyperRing is the result: something simple, personal, and just a bit magical.

From concept to creation
The idea for HyperRing started with a simple question: why should technology feel bulky and “gadget-y,” when it can look and feel beautiful instead? We imagined a sleek, minimalist ring that actually looked like jewellery, while offering secure, tap-to-pay convenience when you need it.
Getting here took time. From product design and hardware development to app creation, every step was filled with late nights, unexpected turns, and more than a few restarts.
What makes HyperRing special isn’t just what it does. It’s everything it took to make something that looks so simple to actually work and feel right.

The people who made it real
When we re-founded HyperRing in 2025, we experienced the power of connection. Before even launching the product, we were flooded with enthusiastic comments and words of encouragement from early supporters who understood the vision.
We started hearing something consistent from our customers: that HyperRing didn’t just save time, it made their days feel a little lighter. It became one less thing to remember, one less moment of friction, and one less thing to worry about.
Those stories reminded us why we started this in the first place, and continue to shape how we think about the product and why we build it the way we do. And they’ve brought together a growing community of people who value simplicity, ease, and thoughtful design.
